K. Hsu in 1960, chartering tonnage to Japanese companies.<\/p>\n<p>In the 1980&#8217;s, the Four Asian Tigers enjoyed rapid industrialization. Sincere Navigation realized the Japanese market was limited for further\u00a0development, so the company decided to expand towards the\u00a0European and American markets, and replace\u00a0the smaller\u00a0handysize\u00a0bulk carriers in its existing fleet\u00a0with larger panamax and capesize bulk carriers. Target customers included steel companies and power plant\u00a0around the world. Because of the quick transition in its\u00a0operating strategy, the Company was successful in\u00a0surviving\u00a0the shipping crisis in 1985. In the late 1980&#8217;s,\u00a0Sincere Navigation became one of the largest private operators of capesize vessels in Asia.<\/p>\n<p>In 1987, Sincere Navigation acquired Karson Navigation Corporation and Tai Hsing Navigation Corporation, and reorganized with \u201cSincere Navigation Corporation\u201d as the surviving company.<\/p>\n<p>In December 1989, Sincere Navigation held its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in Taiwan and listed its stock on the\u00a0Taiwan Stock Exchange with the stock code 2605. In the same year, Sincere Navigation established NORLEY CORPORATION INC. with 100% shareholding and\u00a0registered in Liberia. The purpose of the new subsidiary company was to expand its\u00a0market connections and building its\u00a0global shipping network.<\/p>\n<p>In 2001, Sincere Navigation established HEYWOOD LIMITED with 100% shareholding and\u00a0registered in Marshall Islands. The purpose was to\u00a0expand its\u00a0market capabilities and building its\u00a0global shipping network.<\/p>\n<p>In 2004, Sincere Navigation established Haihu Maritime Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai. The purpose was to capture the opportunities in China, and connected the global shipping network.<\/p>\n<p>In 2006, Sincere Navigation was awarded by\u00a0Forbes Magazine\u00a0as one of the\u00a0&#8220;Best Under a Billion&#8221; companies in the Asia region. The professional operations and\u00a0steady growth achieved by the company, not only gained trust from domestic and international institutional investor and the public, but also received accolades from its\u00a0international partners\u00a0and the global shipping industries.<\/p>\n<p>In 2019, Sincere Navigation acquired Oak Maritime (Canada) Inc. to expand the business territory.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, Sincere Navigation established Sincere Navigation Corporation (Singapore) Pte.
